Project Outline
Following last year’s Inclusive Economic Society for Eastern Indonesia project, SPF is helping to stimulate economic activity by supporting women and other entrepreneurs from socially disadvantaged or vulnerable groups. This initiative has been held up as an inclusive economic model for driving stable growth in poverty-stricken and disaster-affected ASEAN regions. SPF is working to roll out this revolutionary model at scale by engaging a variety of stakeholders across the public, private, and academic sectors, and by ensuring that local input is incorporated into policy proposals. In Indonesia and the Philippines, SPF is helping to promote sustainable economic development by supporting local social entrepreneurs and working together on government policy.
